MAZDA is a jerk

I was sitting in a car lot next to my friends 20th anniversary edition GTI. and i was thinking, hmm, about what size exaust is it all the way through, his came with a 3" turbo back exaust. So i go back to my car and al of a sudden wonder, Is my exaust really only about 2" all the way through? So i go down and look. Well, no, The exaust from the downpipe to about a foot from the muffler is EXACTLY the same diameter. About a foot to 6" away from the muffler, the damn mazda people crimp the exaust down to what it exits at.

the bastards. (boom02)

Once Mazda borrowed a mandrel bender from my brother to do exhaust for Mary Steenburgen and Ricky Schroeder's joint project to build up a Chevy Sprint and never returned it. What a jerk. I guess that's why our cars have crush bent exhaust.

haha i read this thread then moved on to another one but couldn't stop laughing so i came back to it...and that NPH comment is making me laugh so hard i'm crying. hahahahahha

BTW, a 2.0L is around 122ci. Now look at the chart....2" is MORE than enough for a 2.0L 100 hp car
