Mazda include any pre-wired spots or spare wires for reversing camera?

Quick question

New here! Just got myself a Mazda CX-5 AWD 2016 KE/GH, (EU)

Does anyone know if Mazda included any pre-wired spots or spare wires in these that I could easily tap into for a reversing camera install?

Also, the camera I picked up is K015-67-RC0A. Any tips or experiences would be awesome!

Tack!

I don't know if there are wires included for cars that didn't have cameras.

But what are you connecting the camera to? The 1st gen (at least) cars used a 6V supply for the camera, while most aftermarket radios and cameras are 12V.

Thanks.

Just installed a reversing cam on my EU 2016 CX-5.

The camera is a no-name one I got off Taobao, but it works well. I mounted it where the license plate light goes, removed the license plate light cover, and it slotted in fine. Drilled a small hole in the base to run the cable through. Only issue is there’s no rubber seal on the camera, so I’m a bit concerned water might get in and cause rust inside the tailgate. Might seal things from the inside later.

Wiring was simple. While I was at it, I replaced the USB hub with the alibaba model so I could get CarPlay working. That part works great now. The old USB hub didn’t survive the removal though — cracked total.

Camera image is good, totally usable, but no dynamic tracker lines. Still better than nothing, and the install was easier than I expected thanks to all the forum posts out there.
