Mazda Die-cast Models

NO. Mazda only owns the rights to the logo and the name. You can't protect the shape of the car. As long as there are no Mazda names on the model, there are no problems...

just to keep you all updated, he was given a phone number at mazda to call about licensing. alexitov, i know, i read what you said above and passed that along to him, he just doesn't feel right doing it without approval. that was about a week ago. he said he will keep me apprised.

I would be interested in a 03.5 msp, yellow if possible :D

And by the way, I got an RX-8 model from Alexlitov and it's kick ass. very detailed, high quality.

here is a pic of a Hotwheel car I picked up at Wal-Mart. Not exactly our MP5 but close enough for now.

as far as my contact goes, i don't think he ever made any headway with MNAO in regards to licensing. if i hear back anything different in the future, i'll let you all know :( sorry guys.

lol this is why i never get too excited about these plans lol. 9 times out of 10 they fall through. better luck in the future, i would like to see something produced, but either way i can live with out it.

I'd pay 100 bucks for a Laser Blue 5. Some of the models I've looked at are more expensive anyway.

i want some in 1/18th scale so i can try some projects. . .. heh try to fit a p5 body on a micro rs4. . that would be sweet
