I just got my eBay 8000k HID H7 kit for my CX-7. There are cheaper out there but this ones have good feedback from other forums and quality is great.

First I forgot to order and adapter need it to install H7 HID to the CX-7.

Without the adapter the bulb is loose because the clip wont have preasure enought to hold the bulb in place, my HID came with a rubber housing that I used as an adapter. I put the bulb then the rubber housing and the clip just holded all togheter perfectly until I buy the $7 adapters. I installed the ballast on different position on the engine bay for easy access. I paid $99 shipped because we order 4 sets and they're excellent quality plus they have US warranty of 1 year( bulb and ballast) they ship from the US too.

I'm like a little boy waiting for Santa in my case is waiting for the sun to go down hehe, I want to see how they look, so far I tought my philips blusih bulbs were almost pure with at night but compared to the HID they looked YELLOW YELLOW.

I'm going to buy a 3000k (yellow) HID kit for the coming soon Fog Lights

HERE IS A VIDEO on how fast they turn on completly after hours of been off.

Nice what is the 7 dollar adapter like I haven't got around to installing them in my wifes CX7.... Crap I haven't even got around to doing them in my SRT-4

Kinda strange you have the same cars as I have. Too bad you didn't have a silver SRT-4 cause we have the same color CX7 as you!

EDIT just seen it's your cousins SRT and not yours but anyways if you can please ask him what kind of bulb he used in the fogs for the SRT as well as if it's the stock foglight housing he is using since that's what I have in my SRT is the stock housing. Thanks again!!!

Anyways let me know about the adapter thing as well is this something I can just get from the dealership? Second thing I had a question about is what kind of HID's did you put in the fog lights on the SRT-4! I haven't found a place that has the bulb for that because it's a off size bulb I am guessing you went with something else totally? If so please get back to me and let me know. E-mail would be great!

The CX-7 with HID from factory uses DS2 bulbs, now I'm confused because my HID H7 haves the H7 form they don't need the adapter wich is this one.

Even if you buy the DS2 HID bulbs and this adapter the clip wont hold the bulb in place you need something to extend the bulb's back so the clip can pushed firmly in place.

If you have removed your stock bulbs you will notice that they have a BLACK PLASTIC adapter to extend the bulb's connections. In my case my H7 HID had the H7 form but I was unable to install the BLACK PLASTIC adapter, and the clip didn't push the bulb all the way it was loose, I used a rubber housing that came with the HID's to create a "rubber washer" and now the clip holds everything in place.

About the SRT-4, my cousin bought if I'm not mistaken 9007 with low/high beam feature for the headlights, and fot he fog lights he bought 881's both in 8000k. They really light up the street now, the power output is almost 5 times brighter. He haves stock headlights and stock foglights.

The High/Low beam feature is great because the bulbs haves a solenoid that moves and creates the low and high beam, perfectly.

Probably going to have to take it apart to see what it is. I haven't even done it. My buddy did it on his CX7 already so I was already going to give him a call to give me a hand figured since he did it once it will be much faster the second time around.

But where did you get the ones your using. Well from who? He used a place called flashplus on e-bay but wanted to see what others have done and who they used and how everything went.
