2001 Mazda MP3 - Blue
Picked up the new (August) issue of SCC and was happily surprised by the number of pages on Mazdas this month!

Not only was there a Wings West Protege shot at The International Auto Salon in Long Beach, CA...a tech article on how not to fry your rotary motor like they did on the RX7 project car...a full page on the 2002 MSP in orange in "SpinOut"...a test (alright "driving impression") of the Mazda 6...but to top it off: a multi-page article and behind the scenes look at the Roger Foo P5 racer!

Lots o' ink for our little cars! 'bout time don't ya think?

Now if they only did a write-up on the MP3 that they have in their project car line-up it would make the circle complete.

I've noticed the MP3 slightly missing from the Project Car line up lately. What cover was the August issue?? I might just have to go find it.

its a right hand drive skyline, pulled over by a hummer police vehicle.

much mazda in this one!

I will be patiently watching the news stand for the August issue then.

I still refurse to get a subscripiton to this magazine though.

I'll double check, last time I saw the news stand they were still on July...

i have a subscription but they didnt send me august :(
i already got september tho, and it sucks IMO, i get tired of looking at awesome cars that i cant get in the US after a while.....

oh yea, there is a writeup in the new one about a RX-3, and the project MP3 is in it. Its used in the section where they talk about drag racing. No mention is made of the car, but it is in a few pictures. I found it ironic that they would use the project mp3 of all cars, probably the slowest off the line of all their project cars, in the drag racing write-up
