Mazda CMU Hacks/Anyone have experience?

Does anybody have any experience with Mazda CMU Hacks..... I see them on the Internet and a couple of tweaks seem attractive... However the thought of making any changes like this scares me.... Just wondering if anyone has any experience or regrets doing these?
one of the hacks for example is "remove the nag screen"..... that's right remove the annoying screen when you first start the car....It will be screening again thought of making changes like this scares me.

I wouldn't do it unless the car was out of warranty and even then it would have to be something great. The nag screen bothered me for the first couple months then I got used to it, same with the reflective trim in the drivers side mirror. Now I don't even notice it.
