Mazda close in Mosport

Bonnacorsi is following close behind the BMW of Ken Dobson during the first practice at Mosport this weekend.

After qualifying there are two Protoges in the top three.

Paul Bonaccorsi got in there with a second sport and Chuck Hemmingson is in third place.

Will Turner took the pole however in a BMW and with a time that was almost a half second faster than number two. Right behind the two Mazdas are the Lexus IS300 and two more BMWs. Should make for an excellent race.

I saw four Proteges in the top ten for qualifying...They are all over the "big boys".
