Yeah, I just made this account after reading the threads in this forum and I did not see what I was trying to find, anyways I am trying to figure out what size amp wattage can my car handle? I have two 15" kicker subwoofers that can be ran off 500 watt RMS each, so at most I would need is a 1000 watt RMS amp. Think my Mazda 6 (04) can handle a 1000 watt RMS amp?

The factory alternator and battery should be able to handle 1,000 watts RMS without too much trouble. I have amps totaling about 1,200 watts RMS in my MS6 but I don't stress the system with bass heavy music that often. If your lights dim with the music, that's when you need to look into electrical system upgrades. High output alternator, additional batteries and or capacitors, big-3 wiring upgrades, etc.
