Mazda 5/Mazda Premacy 2nd Row middle seat option

Hello,
I know it must have been mentioned here before but I'm very interested in having the option of an extra seat in the middle of the 2nd row of seats. It looks like it was standard equipment in Europe and Japan.

The conversion looks simple enough. It only looks to be two or 3 parts required for the conversion. Has anyone tried this yet?

Due to different safety regulations is it not available in Canada/USA.
If you get injured in the accident in the middle seat I'd expect the insurance to deny the claim if you do this install.

I haven't been able to source the parts. However, the shoulder belt is in the ceiling so I'm not sure if the bolt in point is there or if you'd have to weld it in. You'd also have to source the accompanying headliner too.

Also due to the lap belt, you'd probably need the whole middle row as well.

My interest was piqued early on, but I couldn't figure out how to make the center seatback not be in the way when not in place, so that combined with cost and bother involving a retrofit caused me to lose interest.
