Mazda 3 low washer fluid light

is it me or do those non working lights just bug the hell out of you

The low washer fluid light works on my moms 3, I know because she keeps getting me to go out and fill up the fricken tank for her(seems it only gets low for her in blizzards, and since she's a wuss, I end up going out for her..ahh well, atleast I can confirm the light actually works on one 2005 Mazda 3GT sedan.

It seems like the mazda 3 has one of the "low washer fluid" idiot lights that tells you when your washer fluid is almost empty. At least I remember reading about such a light in the manual... however yesterday I managed to get the tank bone dry and nothing came on...

have any of you seen the light come on? perhaps it is a package deal, or the manual just got it wrong... Or I get to have them replace something the first time I take it in :-D

mazda3 Sport GT (hatch) has the light too.. i think it's on the GT models (or equivalent S models in USA) but i'm not 100% sure about the states
