Meh, the first time I drove a stick was leaving the lot after I purchased my car. (I left the parking break on and squealed the tires like mad right by the service guys (hand)). But like someone already stated you will regret buying an automatic.comp78tec said:I really want a 5-speed, I just don't want to stall it out leaving the dealers lot or get stuck at a red light![]()

OK. Now that we have these opinions allow me to plug in my two cents (USD). Got the Manusuckit b/c I lived in a big city with a 7mi commute that took 45-60 minutes. I hated my stick in bad traffic. I like to drink coffee, talk on the phone and generally BS while I'm sittin on my arse. I don't live in the city now but will move back next spring. That was one of the main reasons I got the auto. Plus, the Manusuckit isn't all that bad. Having driven it for 3 months now I almost never use the automatic mode..... but it will be there when I need it.ucdchan said:I'm in the same situation. But I live in San Francisco (full of hills and crap). Would it be wise to go w/ the manual? I'm planning on getting a 3 HB.
