Hey all, Im lookin to get rid of my p5.. one of the cars ive always wanted and have strongly considered being its replacement is the rx-8. Ive driven quite a few of them, as well as the cars i considered competition, such as an evo or sti....now...I freakin love boost, but the 8 and the sound and revving of a rotary..is hard to replace.

So heres a few im considereing, If you know of somewhere else in AZ that would be a reputable dealership lemme know, I need to stay in this price range, and dont have to money to buy one from a private seller.

Lemme know what u think.

as well rounded the eight is.. not quite sure id place it with the mitsu or subie in comparison imho...

I read some reviews about the RX-8 before I bought my wife's car. I think it was Edmonds, or one of the other car reviewers, did a comparison between the 350Z and the RX-8. At that time, the Z350 probably had more power and zap to it; but, for all around handling and comfort, the RX-8 won hands down, overall. The Z350 is uncomfortable to drive for long distances, as well. We've not found that to be true with the RX-8.

I would suggest that anyone who is thinking about buying a 2004-2005 RX-8 find a service bulletins list on the Internet via Google and see what all has been involved with the first two years. By the time we bought my wife's car, most had been ironed out. We've had a couple of minor things, like a broken visor; but, that's it. The engine has been flawless. However, our car only has a little over 6K miles on it; so, it's not a good comparison vehicle.
