Hows it going everyone, so these are my symptoms will be driveing hit -8psi go into closed or open loop cant remember but im at 10afr then I get to 0psi and im at 12.3 afr, hit boost start leaning out to 13 afr then jump back to 10afr release gas and instead of seeing the ----- on the guage i might see 17afr then hit the gas be at 16afr and droping fast to 14.5afr. which is where I should be. Idle's fine. Pulled plugs starting from left to right 1st sooty half way has gloss looks wet, 2nd clean, 3rd and 4rth sooty half way. Running denso 1 stage colder. obviously the clean one is my concern. idled car started pulling cables they where all getting spark got shocked a couple times. so you think its coils maf pump injectors? I rotated the coils and got the same result. Will be putting regular plugs back in tommorow.ngk.stocker.
 
Well swapped back to my ngk's. car runs better but the guage is still jumping to 16afr then to 10afrs and staying maybe im tripping well have to see until I get the check engine light. also light throttle is still -10 psi with 10afrs some times but its cold out side. so who knows just got to wait.
 
Before i answer...

what do you mean by -# psi. do you mean vac or psi? psi is positive pressure (anything above atmospheric). so im trying to see what your saying.
 
my air filter fell off in the wheel well plus I think it was heat soak. Took my audi smic off put a saab fmic on hey where good to go so far, havent been on the highway yet though. Ill post monday..
 
Don't just throw money at your problem. Test it before you buy the part you think is the issue. There has to be some one with a 3rd gen protege around you. Go on MOCC and ask for help.

+1 you seriously dont want to fork out 190ish for a new MAF come to find out you do not need one. Plus they are so easy and fast to swap out from a buddies car that its worth doing.
 
I didn't word it right I should have said Ill start saving money for replacement parts as needed, and I do need to make contact with people from mocc. would be cool to hang out with other people with similiar cars. On a side note Im loving the front mount, dam thing stays cold the only issue is the crash bar blocking 1/2 of the intercooler but i made sure the cold side is the side that is getting hit by air. still a work in progress. I think my biggest issue on my mind right now is cylinder 2 that plug that was clean wondering if the injector is plugged will start putting some seafoam in the fuel see if that clears things up.

GO FIND SOMEONE THAT WILL LET YOU TEST THEIR MAF ON YOUR CAR ALREADY!!!!!!!!! I had a multi misfire on bank 2 with my bad MAF.
