07 Mazdaspeed3 GT Sunlight Silver (sold) :(
Well here is my situation as of now,

I have twins on the way and traded in my ms3 4 months ago. Completely regretting my decision I have the opportunity to pick up a ms6 for a great price. If anyone with kids has a ms6 please chime in. I was just curious about the mileage on some of your vehicles because the particular one I am looking at has 75k, and its a white 06. The person selling has the platinum extended warranty which is a major bonus and would transfer over if I purchase. Also, I still have all of my old parts from the ms3, i.e. cobb sfi, cobb tip, cobb ap, hks ssqv, boost guage, and so on. Besides the AP, are any of these interchangeable to the ms6? Also, when I traded the ms3 in it had just started smoking, so i guess that is expected of the ms6. Please chime in and help me in my decision making. Thanks.

75K is a lot man. The car is relatively new and there really aren't THAT many people over that mark. On this / 6 forums ive only seen a few speed 6's over 100K miles.

I personally wouldn't go for a car with that many miles unless its notorious for very high miles.

As for the mods you can use all that stuff on the speed 6.

yea the only reason why I am still interested is the 100k warranty still offered with the car at no additional charge. Being that these engines are somewhat problematic that sort of appeals to me.... ah decisions decisions...(braindead

I will say getting kids into my charger has been extremely easy. They make them in AWD. I'm debating though getting ride of my charger for a MS6 for a more year round car as mine is RWD and the charger AWD's are more then I want to spend right now.

hmm, thanks for th input i will check into those as well, I really shouldn't have traded in the speed3 because I think space wise it would have been sufficent and I know the speed6 would be also.

I traded a 05 MZ3 hatch for a Speed6 due to the birth of my daughter in 07. The cars been great for hauling baby/baby stuff and us. Gas mileage isnt the greatest as I average 17-20mpg with mixed driving, but with great power comes only so-so gas mileage..... When on long trips, and not getting on boost too much, mileage has jumped to a high of about 26mpg.... The AWD is great for piece of mind and with a set of dedicated summer wheels/tires and winter wheels/tires I have the best of performance/safety for any condition....
