May need help installing the WGA

:
2008 Mazda MX-5 5MT PRHT
So my WGA came in and I am meeting up with Scott this weekend to get it. Anyone feeling frisky? Any help would be very help...ful. If not, I'll just take it to my buddies house. However, reading that other post that Camerazn posted, I feel like he and I both might not really know how to accomplish it. Plus, this is my DD, so I really can't go without it.

So any takers? I'm willing to pay you.... (butthump)(whip)

Everything is pretty straightforward and easy except for getting that damn E-clip back on once you get the new WGA on.

Well you must understand... I want to be a mech, but I just don't have the know-how, enough so to keep me from being a mech. I can pretty much change my oil, keep my tires going smooth, wash my car, and drive the bastard. I can also listen, learn, and do as I'm told. I actually learn very quickly. Anyhow, I still would like a second hand... third hand.... fourth, fifth, sixth....

Well I live in oakwood (which I know is 2 hours away from Columbus with no traffic, my GF used to go to school there... made that trip way to many times). However, you're more than welcome to come up and help.

Thanks Will-U-am. I would appreciate it. We can discuss this more Thur.

I am still looking for more help. I will be sure to take pics so that anyone who needs them, will have them.

Bah. I'd so be there to see it done correctly / point out where I ****** up, but I have to work this weekend (I could maybe do Sunday? That might be Girlfriend time. However, Girlfriend is a bit of a car girl, so....).

i am busy sat. all day and sunday mornin but if by sunday mid afternoon you still cant get it try to get in contact with me i may be able to help

Well then I'll see if can be done Sunday then. I mean, if you guys don't think you can make it for sure, then I'll go to my buddies.

That being said, if no one can lend me a garage, I am going to have to use my buddies place anyway. He lives in Flowery Branch (north of the Mall of GA). I might just wait until next weekend. I mean, my car runs just fine as it is so it's not a big deal.

What kind of help would there be for next weekend?

I'd be glad to lend the garage on any other weekend, but I'm out of town Friday night through sunday night this weekend. Sorry.

I've done it with no problems but I don't know when I could help out. It isn't too bad of a chore though, just patience.

Well there Drew-cifier, are you be fo-serious? Cause if you would, I'd really like some help by Mazda guys. I mean, Will is good with cars and even turbos for that matter, but I've been noticing that Mazdas (especially the MSP's) can be very finicky (sp.). So if I can wait for next weekend, would you be willing to lend your garage?

If you were just saying that in the infinite hopes that I would rather just go to my friend's place and were also hoping to somehow ween me out of the mazda forums... than that's ok. I understand. I'll just go now (blowup)

Next weekend should be fine. I have absolutely no know how on changing the actuator, but it can't be TOO bad. If anyone else wants to lend a hand, you're more than welcome to come by.

Nice! Thanks a mil dude. This is one of many reasons I am glad I found this place. I can only imagine where I would be without you guys... you're the best I've ever had... I'm sorry.... I promised myself I wouldn't cry...

Cool. Thanks Will-U-Are. So I hear NC is still a go! Have fun. Dodge the trees. Remember the Kennedy's! (nailbyt) Too soon?

For the record, next Sunday, I'm house sitting for a buddy on Saturday.
