A manual boost controller is the most reliable. All of my experience with EBCs has shown them to be very quirky. I have a t25 on my SR and my EBC (Blitz SSBC) will always spike.
I have it set to 14lbs but it will go to 18psi at times. I have 370cc injectors though so no detonation not to mention the fact that the t25 isn't really pushing much more air at 18psi then at 14psi.
I would suggest a remapped ECU (if anyone does it yet for the MSP) and dyno tuning with a wideband o2 and bigger injectors.
BTW- do MSPs use high impedance or low impedance injectors? Are there any "junkyard" swaps as far as injectors go?
