Does anyone know of a Mass air flow sensor that would fit our car, or a company that makes one for us?

what do you mean a MAS that fits our car it already has one???

Look at your intake, afrey2002. See the two cables running into the intake piping just engine-side of the filter box? One of them is your MAS.

Um...just putting my 2cents in but doesnt AEM make a mass airflow sensor? If i dont know, im gonna ask. :D

I work in engine calibration for Ford Motor,

The Mass AirFlow sensor does not increase flow. It simply measures your airflow through your intake. nothing more, nothing less. I don't know what your brother is talking about. that doesnt make any sense.

they make different kinds of mass air flow sensors. i'm not sure what kind we use, but i know some restrict air flow more then others. i belive the best kind (i can't remember what its called anymore) uses a heated needle and measures how much air is flowing past it by how much it is cooled by the air.

They are two DIFFERENT things.

There is a throttle attached to the intake manifold. This contains a butterly that's controlled by your foot. It allows different amounts of air to get it.

Then there is a Air Sensor. This is attached to the back side of the airbox and it measures the amount of air coming into the sensor.

Increasing the size of both of these will increase airflow capability.
