Manual Protege 5 ECU

Hello all, I have an ecu, that I was told was an MP3 ecu, took it to the dealer, and they ran the serial on it. Came back as a manual protege 5 ecu, the guy I got it from said he got it for his MSP build. So I have no idea if it was reflashed or not... So, I just bought an MP3 ecu, and I am looking to sell this one. Looking for $50.00, shipped in the U.S.

If the ECU was flashed, the serial number will still show that it is an stock ECU. It does not necessarily mean that the firmware matches the ECU.
