yes, thats right. I wanted to make an update. With about 3/4 highway miles and 1/4 city, boosting 5% of driving time, i have 326.5 miles on 3/4 tank. Still had 4 gals left when i filled her up..

gas mileage is pimp :D

o m g.. wat the hell.. haha i'm runnign begi FPR and walbro 225 fuel pump... i can barely get 300 a whole tank.. i gotta super grandma driver just to get 300.. what's the deal?! time to get MPI? =D

i have the mpi turbp and mpi tuner and i am on like 310 highway miles with 3/4 tank boosting 8 psi most the time

put your mpg in my thread in the tunning section.. not many people replied.

i get better mileage now than when i was NA.... avg 26mpg

people with other EMS's dont talk much about mpg... its pretty important on a daily driver

Wow you guys are luck..i have to baby the car to get 300miles to a tank..

but than again..i am pushing 10psi...

bastards. i get < 300 per tank. and i drive a lot of highway, probably like half the time.

good to hear -- i always wondered what would happen to the mpg after boost --- right know as a NA -- i get 320+ on a tank with 40/60 city/highway and i never use 5th gear :)

Most other people run bigger injectors. So they may run rich at the bottom end.

on my completely stock MSP I could probably get ~400mi on a tank with straight highway driving. I've taken it to 350-370 miles before, no problem.

Oh, and I never drive slow. 85-90 is cruising speed for me.

Does stick make that much of a diff? =| Oh well, at least I have it easier in traffic....

Just took a 236 mi highway trip (Flint, MI to Columbus, OH) and the needle was only about an 1/8th past halfway (so only around 5-6/8th of a tank were used). I was crusing in MI at 85-100, and in Ohio I was doing 80 with some light stop and go. Oh yeah, and this was with a fully loaded car. Easily an extra 3-400 lbs of crap in the car.

I feel bad for you guys that can barely get 300 to a tank!

Mallard, you must not fully understand how tank gauges work. I don't mean to bash but it is not a linear relationship, meaning if your gauge says you have 1/4 tank left, you really only have about 1/6. They drop really slow to start with then they speed up just as you run out. This has a psychological effect that makes the driver fill up less and not keep the gas tank full. Auto manufacturers purposely do this for a couple reasons...If everyone kept their tank full, we would have a gas "shortage problem" similar to what happened in the late 70s. Second, more gas means more weight to the vehicle (5 gallons is close to 48 lbs).

Well all I know is when I fill it up at the E it takes a little over 13 gallons, and when I fill it up where the needle is now it takes around 8. (I'll fill it up tonight just for you) Watching the needle through the trip it is fairly linear until you get to the last 1/4 tank. Every 100 miles the needle is on a quarter line.

Also, I have driven my car to 370 miles on a tank. That's when the light came on.
