MAM SS or HiBoost

well it has a short ram intake, if thas what you mean. it also has the best intercooler/charge piping route of all the available FMICs (the MSP fmic kit is basically the same as the thumper) it also requires no cutting

The F10X is $850.00 with all sensors, (coolant, air and 2 Bar MAP) with pre made harness, pre mapped and now with the Closed loop option.

It also includes the Coolant temp case adapter to avoid the tapping on the stock case.

hey juan, did you send that wire on over? can put the 0-1 or 0-5 wire in the number 2 spot on the harness for closed loop?

just as loud as it would be if it was on top... maybe even louder.

the reason it is placed there is because its MEANT to be as close to the turbo as possible. its just better at doing its job there.

the thumper uses a Tial 50mm (which I like very much) and the MSP fmic uses a HKS SSQ (I think).

Beau really likes the clean look (and I do too)

well, something as extreme as the thumper kit you'd probably be running some engine management. Me, I'm going to run the AEM EMS, so no MAF sensor, so no recirculation.

the 50mm Tial can't be recirculated due to its design. this isn't a turbo kit for a FMU, its way beyond that

the MSP setup is dual BOV/BPV so it can recirculate the stock BPV and have a BOV as well.

since i'm not an expert on this, I don't know if I should buy this kit
what's a good resource to learn about tuning your car?

I know about turbocharging, but need to know the basics about tuning the F10X

I would suggest getting all the reading material you can on the Haltech then. also speaking with people who also have it and tune it is key. no amount of reading makes up for experience.

The MAM Thumper kit doesn't look like it has as much piping as the hiboost kit
One should remember that in that picture I posted of the coolant temp sensor holder, that is an ION FMIC and ION CAI. Not hi-boost routing. (just don't want anyone to get confused)

Juan, can you send me the same thing that you are sending Ken? I would like to be able to run the closed loop thing the same as Ken using my AEM Uego.

Agreeing with Ryan here. If you really want to learn about the Haltech, read what you can here, go to the haltech website and download the manual, download the halwin software and start playing with it.

You can learn a lot by reading, but you'll really start learning things once you have it and you start doing.

Juan, why did you have the turbo facing the other way? Does it benefit? - Just wondering
