Make AEM Short Ram Into A Cold Air

Hey, I was just looking through my old stock intake parts, then Bammmmm, it came to my head, I can make a custom cold air intake with this piece... heres a pic.. Do you guys want me to make a how to?..

its a little ugly, but hey it works right?

As ghetto as some might think it to be, Im one Broke ass fool, I would like a How To, or atleast a lenghty PM and your email address.
 
its not ugly, its just a bad picture which makes your mind say "thats ugly" I drove it today and I dont know if theres a big diff, feels more throttle, smoother idel, and much louder...
I will take some pics later and tell u howto do it.. it to me about 30min, and that was with finding out how to do it.

ok heres my suggestion, the system you did looks good, and works well to get the filter in the well but the ridges in the plastic portion cause alot of turbulence which is bad for the intake, wont affect it too much but all the same...essential speed has mandrel bend pipes in 2.5 and 3" sizes for sale, their pretty much just elbows but they are mandrel bent and may work to do the same thing you havem you could always get a piece of aluminum pipe from somewhere like home depot or a shop and have them bend it for cheap.

Now that I think about it it is alot of work to just get rid of the ridges...lol. NIce job

i've seen alot of peopel do this for other cars with pieces of intake piping from auto zone
