Just wondering what maintenance schedule everyone is following. According to the manual it oil/lube/filter should be changed every 5,000-7,500 miles. But my dealer is telling me that I should follow the every 3,000 miles. Can anyone help me out with this. Also I am new here so is there any other information regarding additional maintenance?

It depends of the driving conditions and weather, yet I will go with the 5000 one. Once I thought of even 7500 but since I it is not my primary car (it is my wife's car) I like the idea that the service also covers some regular checks (i.e. tires rotation, levels, anything broken).

Yeah, my dealer tries to pull that too. The owners manual says 5000 or 7500 depending on how you drive, but unless you drive >75% highway Id go with the 5000 interval. The 3000 mi suggesting is either out of pure ignorance of the OM or trying to make you feel bad about treating your car like poo to sell more service Im leaning towards the latter.

ha, yeah... could literally be any day now! We want to go 2hrs away to the annual PSU Blue & White Football scrimmage tomorrow afternoon, and a local radio station has a free country concert tomorrow night if you could track down tickets(we did) but things like that kind of seem like a risk now... ugh.
