I take my CX-5 in regularly to the dealership for services every 5,000 miles(8,000km). Every major service they lubricate brake slider pins, and a more thorough inspection. Every service includes checking air filters, doing an oil change, a basic inspection, etc. But the car now has almost 80,000km on it and they've never done things like spark plugs, brake fluid, etc. Should I get that stuff done? And when warranty is up, I'll be doing oil changes on it, so with that, can I safely do a 10,000 miles interval(16,000km?). I have seen some data on here that shows a 10k service is safe, but barely. And I want to mile this thing out, so I would like an ideal servicing interval for using the most of the oil, but also still being safe, since I know 5k changes are way too short. Anyways, some advice would be great!
