Has anyone tried puting the MAF on the pressure side of the turbo? If so how does it run and is tehre eraly a difference? Or will it even work?

alot of us have the maf on the pressure side. no problems to note

rear mounted turbo i think is supposed to be remote mounted turbo. very common on scions/trucks. i didnt know anybody put one on a pro yet!!

u need to re-design the intake!! that is probally the worst remote mount i have seen!! (sorry) the only reason i see for a remote mount is limited room in the engine bay (scion's, f bodie cars) nice set up but no need imo on a pro!!

it can be done like this for a couple hunderd bucks.

so $ per HP,there is NO better mod,not even a turbo kit or nitrous, even in this shotty example.

ya but an intake that low, one wet road and all the money saved will be lost!! just my opinion!! i know it is cheaper but imo it could be done alot better, we have alot of room in the back of our cars to tuck the turbo better!! just does not looked designed very good. btw u are running ur maf on the hot side so why ask if it can be done!!

yeah,he really could have done a lot better, and the intake could be put under the bumper more with a water shield.

but still the $ per HP statement remains.

......and yes the MAF is safe on the pressure side.

I but mine there a few years ago.

By the way guys. I'm making a water shield for it. And i know it could be done better but im not doing it to be perfect and run high boost. I just want to have fun with it and experiment to see if it can be done. I am olny gonna run 6 psi. Plus i think its pretty cool. And i am pretty sure i can say i have the only remote mounted turbo protege. I am not totally sure on that but ive never heard of one.

I think your the first for it.
it may be jenkie, but I am sure it's worth every cent you put in,and more fun then you can have by a header and intake.
