I finally got around to building a camera mount for my car. I can hook up my digital camera (Canon A80) and use it to record video during auto-x and what not. I tried it out today and it is extremely stable. Best of all, it cost about $20!!

(nervous) be careful not to mess up your leather with the edge of the al bracket!! nice job!

I rounded the edges so that they wouldn't scratch or indent anything. But thanks for the advice.

nice. i had one made by a friend but the passenger head rest had to be taken out since it would fit into those holes and the camera was right in the center of passenger seat which made videos sucky.

so i bought one from www.chasecam.com and its adjustable and works great. there is another one that i want to get called sticky cam but its kinda expensive.

Oh, and make sure it doesn't sit on the top of the seat, it'll vibrate and scuff the top of the seat. I know.... :(
