M5 Shakes with front windows down

anyone else notice the M5 Shakes at various MPH with the windows down?


quite annoying considering I bought it to drive cross country. would be nice to know if theres so sort of mod that addresses it.

Shot in the dark, but the only thing that comes to mind would be some wind/rain deflectors (?)

Never had that trouble with the front door windows. Now, for most cars, when the back door windows down at high speeds, not just the Mazda5, have some wind circulation issues. This is usually corrected by cracking the front ones a little bit, but not sure if we are talking about the same (scratch)

^^^What he said. When I put my rear windows all the way down with the front windows closed at hwy speeds the turbulence is bad enough to shake the rearview mirror. If this is what you mean just crack the front windows, or in your case the rear windows and the trouble should disappear.

Use the A/C, and cut down on drag, which will lower MPG and slow down your 5.
