So the other day i read some where that i could use a clutch from a probe or mx6 on my 1st gen lx and now i cant find it anywhere!! does anyone know where i can get some info on this stuff or what the options on a real clutch upgrades are??

the v6 clutch? yes it will work from what I have read.

Apparently the 2.5L v6 (kl02/03 and KL-ZE) use the same size clutch as the 1.8L v6..... all of the previous clutches being 225mm same as the BP one.

In theory it works, but no one has yet to try it. I plan on it though since the v6 clutches are 100 bux cheaper than the BP ones, and are meant for greater torque capacity.

cool! do you know where you read that at.... cause it drive nuts cause i cant find were i read it...
thanks

well I have read off of the clubprotege forum that the 1.8L v6 works great inplace of the 1.8L BP.

I then I remember reading off of the MX-3.com forum that all the KLZE ppl use the clutchmasters clutch b/c its a good cheap reliable clutch.

So I poked around and found that all 3 discs were 225mm..... which made me think that they would work. So I emailed the ppl at clutchmasters and they said the 2.5L and the 1.8L use the same clutch. If A=B and B=C, then A=C.

Dunno if anyone has yet to try it, but once I got my GTX I was gonna give it a try...
My whole car is going to be frankestein like.... v6 mx-3 converted to use the GTX motor on a v6 clutch and suspension....
