Lucky Girl :( please look

I had a 92 Ecourt wagon with 13" wheels and a whopping 92 hp. Most of my friends in HS had money too and a few wrecked their 16th birthday presents shortly after getting them. One girl went through 3 brand new Eclipses her senior year. Driving that car made me appreciate the first car I bought myself though, and it was great to learn stick on.

having any car in hs would have made me happy.
Yeah no s***! It's funny when people come on preaching that they had it so much more rough than today's kids because when they were young they had "just a hand-me-down". Try having NO car! My folks were like "wanna go to town - buy yourself a bicycle".(peep)

Man, my mom had to drop me off like a block away from school before I had my car (the last few months of HS). She had one of those HUGE station wagons with the woodgrain on the side. I swear that she'd drop me off RIGHT in front of school and I would slide out on the other side of it and pray that no one saw me. It was like that movie Uncle Buck. lol

i rode my bike to school (8 miles) because I had soccer practice/matches afterwards and no one to pick me up or any buses to drop me off. got my first car when i was 19

My first car was a 92 Ford Ranger. It was a hand-me-down and I took real good care of it. It was the black ice on the road that didn't take care of it. I paid to have it fixed (it's good to have mechanic buddies). Then I bought a 65 mustang. It was a little of a basket case tho. So I sold it to my dad and now I have my P5, which I'm paying for. I love the car. Knowing you paid for something really makes it special.
