This is the real deal :) They are still honoring this deal! Looks like i need to sell my MP3 to Blue-Sun, and then trade in the MSP :)

5K, sight unseen? LOL

As long as I get some good news tomorrow from Joe, consider it sold!

If your serious, you can come pick it up this weekend.(shocked). No joke, I want the car sold ASAP so I can get the Mazdaspeed6 before the offer ends

I just ordered the endlinks today, so can have them as well. I havent spoken or heard back from Joe, so I dont know if tomorrow is still a go. I will finally be able to get lots of pics of the car up this weekend.

Hey, let us know when you close the deal. If that is the case I will happily drive up there and get myself one.

Just to let you know I don't think the have any sport models anymore, so you would have to pay extra to get a GT. They are not eager to sells these cars at this price, I can't even get my saleman to call me back.

When I called, it seemed like the salesman really wanted my business.

GT is what I want anyway. I dont mind paying more than $89 a month, I just dont want $400+ a month payments...

I also need to see how much it is going to cost to insure it. Hopefully it isnt as bad an evo...

actually it would be cheaper to insure a ms6 for me than to insure my mazda3. The standard mazda 6 is the second cheapest car to insure, so you should be ok. I was quoted at 800 a year from progressive.

.

So how much more for a GT? That is my preference anyway.... They seem to have a lot of those in stock too!

FYI: I contacted them a few weeks ago to buy one and they did offer 7k off MSRP but with about $750 in junk fees. At $6.25 off MSRP, I was not that thrilled. Leasing could work out to be cheaper if they stick to the advert: this lease deal is almost 8k off on a sport!

I have done a bit of digging.... After some reading of the fine print, I greatly doubt you can actually get this deal :bs: unless you got:

1. $2k Mazda Loyalty rebate requires for you to have purchased a mazda from them in the last 4 months and now you have to be crazy enough to trade it in (read: we will screw you on the trade in).:bs:

2. You are lucky enough to have Mazda send you a comptetive conquest coupon for $1k. (That is highly unlikely because according to 1. you already own a Mazda). BTW: these suckers are randomly mailed and I could not request one...:bs:

3. You have been to a Zoom-Zoom event and still have a $250 coupon.:bs:

Having said that, no one is going to get any Zoom-Zoom out of this deal (poke) . Given their attempt at $750 in junk fees a couple of weeks ago, this is not a surpise!

Ask for the internet/fleet manager

The $8500 discount is their advertised discount this weekend. They actually refused to re-do the paperwork when the advertisement came out. I agreed to $8000 off on friday, and the $8500 advertisement came out in the newspaper on saturday. My brother had to end up buying the car in order to get the $8500 off.
I've never set foot in the dealership, I live in MN. My brother is visiting relatives in CA, so he was there to be able to do everything.

I just got back from that dealership and talked with Joe. The $8500 discount was over last week and best he gave me was 7300 off the 06 MS6.

Didn't really get into details but it my option came out to be:

Leasing:
Est. Final Price@23otd
$400/month @ 24months @ 15,000/year

Yay or Nay

Yeah, that sale special was probably only until the end of the month. That's the best time to buy cars because dealerships try to get those last minute sales to pad their numbers and meet quotas.

I can confirm that they were offering $8.5k which is very impressive and they add NO junk fees. However, their stock is pretty thin: the only low miles GT they had was black/white leather which I cannot do. They wanted more for any other model for which they would trade.

FYI: It will cost close to $1k to ship one of those across the country too...

The only junk fee is a $45 documentation fee which is pretty reasonable. A dealer in Atlanta wanted to charge me a $399 documentation fee to which I said no thanks.

Go with DASautoshippers. Very cheap shipping and they've been in the business a while. I have a friend who runs a business selling auction cars on Ebay and he recommended DAS to me. It only cost me $530 to ship the car from CA to MN and that is including the $200 insurance they offer. It would have been $330 if I went w/o their ripoff insurance but I could not get a clear answer as to what would and wouldn't be covered from my insurance agent so I just decided to play it safe and buy the $200 insurance from DAS so that I can sleep at night.

P.S. Call for a quote! I did the internet quote and it was $680. I called and it was $580. I saw a "west coast special" on their homepage and asked about it. She knocked another $50 off bringing it to $530. I saved $150 just by calling! (omg)

I went to wayne mazda and talked the guy down to $21800 for a sport. We tried to work it into a 2 year lease but the deal fell through. They are way too agressive there. Ne way I need a car cheap and fast and I work under ford so this is how I discovered the speed6. It seems like a great car and I test drove a sport and was impressed with the low end rpm's. Seems like a v8 under the hood. Clutch caught real high, as if it was used and the shift wasn't as smooth as my prev passat. But for 21k, alot of car for the $$$ and 50k factory warranty

How much did you pay in junk fees?

FYI: When I contacted them, they wanted about $750 in junk (fees and useless/worthless add-ons) for an out of state buy...

Just pruchased and wrecked new MS6...

Hi Mazda Fiends,

Ive been a long time Mazda owner (rx-7, miata, mx-5, miata, miata, rx-8) and now own a Mazdaspeed6. I am also new to this forum. So long story short.

This past Saturday, I purchased a new MS6 GT with moonroof, navigation, Sirius, etc The MSRP was $34,943 and I was able to purchase the car for $26, 943.

Now for the wreck part

After about 3 hours of dealer negotiating with kids and wife in tow, we headed home from the dealership, about 10 miles and dropped the kids off with the sitter. After a quick freshen up, we headed out for dinner and a movie. About 1 mile from the house I hit a huge dear. Apparently he thought he could make it across the dark road without getting hit by the vehicle behind the oncoming headlights.

All of the damage, front end, both front fenders and hood appear to be all cosmetic. Received the estimate back from the adjuster this morning and the total is just under $6k. The insurance company will pay diminished value as well to the tune of about $7k.

Regards, GoodyMS6

Welcome!

And, sorry for the deer! I hope it doesn't take to long to get your newly bought car back.

Hey my new MS6 is white, how much for your front bumber, fenders and hood? (doh).

I like your rims - they go nice with the white.
