Low-speed steering grinding noise

Hi everyone,

I've started to notice a grinding noise/feel coming from the steering at low speeds in my 2019 Sig. It's particularly apparent when I'm pulling in or out of my parking garage, where I turn lock to lock. Any idea of where this could be coming from, before I make a visit back to the dealer? The car has only about 1000 miles

Maybe it's just the brand new tires on clean pavement? My tires used to squeak and "skid" when I would turn the steering wheel if I was on smooth concrete. Or maybe its a power steering issue? Low fluid/faulty pump?

A video would help a lot.

CX5s use electric steering so no pump. I also suspect tire noise especially if it is not noticeable on other surfaces. Ed
