Not it isn't. The very bottom part of the RPM scale is not linear. Count down from 1000 in steps of 100 and you will see that you are around 700, which is what it should be. See the thick line just above zero? That's the bottom of the tachometer's usable range.

that's what i said! ...each tic mark is 100 rpm...

the first line is 0, then the next one is 500...you're fine...

Where is the "How To?" for cleaning an EGR valve?

Got an EGR error code after possibly using too much oil... I saw another thread about that issue. Is there a "How-To?" for cleaning the EGR valve? I am not against spending $116 for a new EGR valve, but would love to not have to if cleaning it might fix the problem.

I started getting the low rpm / idle problem that this post was talking about after the code popped up.
