Lost owners manual....

Hi to all. I just got an '06 Mz5 yesterday and have absolutely fallen in love this car. It is obviously used, and is missing the owners manual. Does anyone know where I can buy one of these? Or maybe ya'll can answer my question. I have pretty much figured out all of the coll little features on my own but the only one I'm having trouble with is; How do I turn on ond off the passengers airbag?

I don't believe there is a switch to deactivate the airbags.
There is a sensor on the seat that will only activate the bag depending on the weight on the seat. I believe this is how it works.

thanks for the info. SInce I posted that I have figured it out. I noticed that when my 6 year old sat in the front seat it turned off. So I believe under a certain weight turns off the sensor. Wow, what an awesome car. Everyday I am finding different things about it that I love.

try ebay for the manual, i have replaced quite a few for cheap that way.

It seems to say that if you go here:

you can access an "online owners manual" (I cannot for my 95 miata, but I'd expect the 06 to be available)
Also, there are not too many differences between the 07 and 06 5s (other than warranty), so the link posted by HotRodSaint in another thread may also help:

welcome to the forums, you'll love the car. We certainly love ours. You are correct about the weight sensor in the front passenger seat. The dash light glows if I put my computer bag there.

I have to respectfully mention--and I'm sure you know this already--is that your six year old should not be in the front seat. You can disregard this comment if you were just experimenting with the weight sensor. But if you were moving, the middle or back row in a belt-position booster is safest.
