So I have a narrow garage so it's entirely my fault really for smacking the mirrors against the side of the garage door when backing out many times over the years. I've noticed this mirror start wobbling at speed and it seems like whatever glue or other adhesive is holding the mirror/glass to the plastic backing which is what clips into the assembly is coming apart.
Does anyone know if the mirror is able to be "popped off" without me removing the internal door panel and taking apart the mirror assembly? I think if I re-glued the back of the mirror to the plastic backing and then popped it back in, it would be fine. Worst case, could buy a new mirror and replace that, but having replaced the passenger side assembly before, not crazy about doing the whole door panel thing again if I can avoid it.
