Dude, cool. The black ones look awesome. Tell us how it goes, I'll definitely be up for buying some.

Have you seen my response about the other sidemarkers I ordered? If not, they didnt work. :(

Girly I went with those too I believe that they were from spoiler 2000 yeah they didn't work which sucked did you have any problems returning them, I believe that if the side markers from the cougar are cut like ours than they will work if not I guess I will have to blow big money for the rx7 markers.

MP3Girly didnt post the last message, I did. I put her name there by mistake. I was tired when I posted. Well...anyway...I am looking into the Cougar sidemarkers, I will let everyone know.

Please except my apology I later realized this when I was looking thru old posts

Follow up on the Cougar sidemarkers....they dont fit. :( I got ahold of a clear pair from a special edition Cougar and I tried to fit it in the hole on my car. Didnt work. Oh well....and my journey continues.

I'll say it again since no one heard me before. I ordered the ones from spoiler 2000 and I got them to fit withe a little modification. There are two different ways you can do it. If anyones interested let me know.

Hey Ben... I'm interested... how did u modify it to make it fit?,...Was it easy and how did u get them for and what's the website? Thanks...

O.K., there's two different ways you can do it. If you don't want to break your current sidemarkers, you can do it this way. If you'll notice the half sphere thing on the back of the clear ones, it is a little too big for the hole in the side of our car. You have to use something with a thin blade like a hack saw(a serrated steak knife might even work). Cut about 1/16in. deep into the top and the bottom. Don't cut too deep the first time or it wont work. Then, the body panels should fit snuggly into where you cut(top & bottom). To put it in, either push in the sidemarker where the pointy ends are up and down, then twist it to the right way. Or just push the bottom part in where the body panel is in the groove you cut, then just push it in till you hear a pop. Then it's in place. This way you will only have to splice the wires from the original harness. I hope that didn't confuse anyone.

The next way is that way I did it. It take much more work, but you get to keep the original harness. First you have to break off the original lens cover. It doesn't just pop off. I broke a hole in the middle and just used needle nose pliers to continus to pull off peices untill it was all off. Then just glue on the new cover. I would have done it the other way if I hadn't already broken one of them first. So I suggest the first way I explained. Let me know if there are any other questions.

Good idea Ben!!....I didnt think of that...I'll give it a try.

Danny...yes they are the same size/diameter.
