O.K., there's two different ways you can do it. If you don't want to break your current sidemarkers, you can do it this way. If you'll notice the half sphere thing on the back of the clear ones, it is a little too big for the hole in the side of our car. You have to use something with a thin blade like a hack saw(a serrated steak knife might even work). Cut about 1/16in. deep into the top and the bottom. Don't cut too deep the first time or it wont work. Then, the body panels should fit snuggly into where you cut(top & bottom). To put it in, either push in the sidemarker where the pointy ends are up and down, then twist it to the right way. Or just push the bottom part in where the body panel is in the groove you cut, then just push it in till you hear a pop. Then it's in place. This way you will only have to splice the wires from the original harness. I hope that didn't confuse anyone.
The next way is that way I did it. It take much more work, but you get to keep the original harness. First you have to break off the original lens cover. It doesn't just pop off. I broke a hole in the middle and just used needle nose pliers to continus to pull off peices untill it was all off. Then just glue on the new cover. I would have done it the other way if I hadn't already broken one of them first. So I suggest the first way I explained. Let me know if there are any other questions.
