ms6mike if you are really 19, not only do I not believe you can afford this car even on a lease...I dont believe you will ever be able to find an insurance carrier that will let you drive it.

actually I wasnt really hating on him...until I found out that he is 19 and works for UPS...now I understand that there are plenty of guys that work at UPS who are ceos and such and make a lot of money, but I guarrantee none of those types of people are under the age of 30...let alone under the age of 20. So i dunno what mike does for UPS, but i gaurentee he makes less than 6 figures and if he can afford this car...he lives in a room in his parents house and doesnt pay for food, rent, or probably anything else...I mean honestly the lease was supposedly close to 2000 a month...what are you going to live on after you pay your car note and insurance?
I really dont want to knock the guy but it really seems unreasonable...and I used to be 19 and say stupid things that I regretted saying because I didnt really think before I spoke (I am sure that people on this forum will attest to the fact that I am now 25 and still say stupid things....). The whole situation just doesnt add up... that is all

You don't know mike, I happen to know him in person, I also happen to know I make more money than he does, unless somehow in someway UPS started paying their employees $17 an hour.......and even I couldn't afford to lease this car. Mike spends more money than me, and makes less....... must be nice not to have any bills. COMMON SENSE......... people really shouldn't open their mouths when they don't know all the facts. It's funny you actually posted you think Mike can afford it, seemingly AFTER jbird quoted Mike working for UPS. Mike is a cool person, he knows I like him, I'm not knocking him...... I'm knocking the fact of affording this car....... unless he came into a large sum of money, or happened to be a recent FL lottery winner, I just don't see it happening. Maybe a couple of years from now when Mike still hasn't gotten an R8, you'll think of this thread and being the only person to believe he'll get it.......... good luck with that (freak)
and regarding that..... Mike's turbo is still stock, I don't consider his car modded to hell, I consider it mildly modded...... 4 mods isn't alot, not when they have the head and the bigger crankshaft for these cars, as well as the turbos.
I also was told straight from the horse's mouth how much monthly payments and insurance on the ms6 are....... so yeah I really don't see the lease of an R8 happening........ but hey who knows if Mike plays the lotto like I've been playing, he can go out and buy one like it's milk money (thumb)

ok, first off i work in a UPS STORE! how much i get a hour? $10.50 P/H where so i get my money? i have 13 properties under my name, 2 of them fully paid they are rented out! my dad left them to me after he died! is it a crime having money and being 19? 130.000.00 fo a car is crazy expensive for me but hey i could care less! why do iwork in a UPS store? because THAT is my career! i want to start my own ups store! so yea i am not going to lie telling people i have money hat i made, because i dont. you guys know my car what it has! all i done to it. you think 10 bucks and hour will cover my cars BLAH! so yea, you guys are right i did not make that money but I have it! so believe me or not, i could care less.

so i have put like 11k on this car give or take on mods and labor and repairs.
so come on men give me a break! had the car less that a year! want me to have it fully built give time FOR the aftermarket to catch up not me. as soon as my car has the upgraded fuel system you guys will see what a MS6 can do!
4 mods mike........ I don't really see how the BOV or the engine mount are going to give you extra horsepower......., yes perhaps the BOV would hold boost better over stock cause it's crap, but a BOV doesn't add power. and the CP-E BOV is different form the HKS :\
So the way I was thinking..... 4 mods, in regards to what adds power to your car...... cause of the TBE, CAI, FMIC, and EMS.
I don't want the GT35r........and as I'm aware there is already one car with it.
Instead of spending that money on the R8, why not build up your ms6 to be the first into the 10s, hell maybe even 9s?
From what I've been researching the fuel pumps, etc are similar to that of Audi?
Car builders often have to go custom man....... why not check and see if you can buy the Audi upgrades and fit them into your system?
you don't need the GT35r, you could get the GT3076r....... you know who P5freek is right mike? I believe his car is faster than yours according to all his racing vids on street fire.net and youtube.com
Why waste the money on the R8? you could make your MS6 WAY faster......
or hell you could take that money and build it into a business of your own, and THEN make some mad money, and THEN get yourself that R8.......without paying ridiculous lease payments......... feel me?
oh and just in case you were wondering the turbo I want is a Precision SC61
with an 88trim and a .70 a/r....... I'm just trying to find a t3/t4 exhaust flange for it to fit....... $700....... if you want in on the deal let me know man, I'm sure I can get you in for one. (thumb)
it'll be smoooooooooooth like butta. Or hell buy the BMW 335i or the new M3...... at least save yourself some money for your future bro, that's all.
Even better, trade in for the 2009 MS6....... it's rumored to be coming with a twin turboed V6 (cabpatch)
