Looking into buying msp or mp3

my car [03 protege lx] has 65k miles and the tranny is a wreck.. its a slavage title and im sick of the monthly fixes i have to pay.. im looking into upgrading? my dad says look for a car for about 2-5k and i was looking into staying in the comunity haha. but if anyone wants to throw some in?
i live in Albuquerque New Mexico and im willing to ship the car if possible?

haha how are you gonna find a MSP for that cheap???!!!...maybe ebay but i personally wouldn't buy a car off of ebay....you'll probably find a MP3 for that price kid

You're not going to find one for that price anywhere unless it's salvaged. And if anything, if you DO find one at a low price - buyer beware. Some of the cars out there have been run into the ground and parts can be expensive, not to mention that some of our cars are very tempermental.

Take some advice... get a good job and buy a used 3.
