Looking for new exhaust...

i would say option 2 or 3. Is the used srmotorsport exhaust the one listed on ebay. He had it on his race track protege for 1 or 2 seasons, i know that becuz i was gonna buy it from him for 175 a few months ago, after contacting him in a local ad. I didnt flow thru with it, since i'm trading in the car. It's a good buy, will give you 9hp, it sounds good, but isn't as loud as corksport or custom piping.

yeah its the one on ebay...my only concern with the sr exhaust is that im spending this money on a new exhaust and it looks almost exactly like the stock exhaust...or is the picture decieving? i just thought a 3" tip is too small, and now with my bent rim, ive got less money, so i may be interested in ur exhaust still

I've got the Corksport on my car and love it. Definitely worth it because it actually gave a noticable power gain too. For you, if you are worried about passing emissions, then get the exhaust right after you are tested, then buy a high-flow cat, get that welded in, and before you go back to emissions you will pass. Also, from what I hear, the CS exhaust will pass because you still have a cat on the downpipe.

I passed inspection in jersey which has sticter laws with the exhaust on, so I wouldnt worry.

The sr one looks pretty much stock. But it is 2.25" piping, yeah 3" tip is some what on the same side. That exhaust is more of a performance exhaust, not much show in it. here is a picture of it compared to the stock.

You should pass. The emission laws are less stricker on the east coast, unlike the laws here in cali.

ok well i dont think im goin to win the sr motorsports on ebay, the high bidder has one of those outbidder programs, so no matter what i bid, he outbids it.... looks like im gonna go with the corksport exhaust very soon, just gotta get a couple weeks of work in the bank

in PA we have to pass inspection and emissions inspection every year, two inspection stickers on the windsheild, kinda annoying

yeah we had to do that about 4 or 5 years ago in minnesota. I know a few people that had to reinstall the stock exhaust to pass.

I was going to put on the stock exhaust back on for inspection, but couldn get a hold of some gaskets, so I just ran it through anyway, and what do you know, PASS. lol

haha that alone is reason enough for me to get the corksport exhaust lol...passing inspection is always a b**** in PA especially when u have lowered car, tints and exhaust...most of which isnt technically legal....
