Looking for a Oil change DIY

I just finished breaking in my 2010 MS3 and i wanted to change the oil. After seeing a couple of items at some vendors sites for a spin on adapter for the speed 3 oil filter it made me wonder if theres something different to the oil filter in a speed. I found one DIY on another site but didn't see any pix and wasn't sure if it spins on or not.

You're in the 1st-gen ('07-'09) MS3 section. You'll have better luck finding more year-specific stuff in the '10+ MS3 section: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=342

I believe the '10 already has a spin-on. If so, it's just a routine oil change.

I hope so i bought a pure one filter and opened the box and it was a spin on type.

Thank You Pictures!!, I already looked under they car and see a regular filter so i don't need to worry about anything crazy.

yup, just a regular spin on. The 2010 Mazda 3 and Speed 3 have the same
oil filter part number. I've been using the K&N oil filters.
