I'm trying to help a friend out with purchasing a MS6. Dealers are telling him that it's a very rare car and he shouldn't look elsewhere.... trips my BS alarm pretty quick.

Anyone know some good dealers to work with in the NJ area?

all help is appreciated

Try going here and searching. I found that SANSONE'S ROUTE 1 MAZDA has 20 listed in stock and MAXON MAZDA has 22. I don't know anything about either dealer though.

Your buddy is getting his chain yanked big time.

Yes, the MS6 is "rare", but so are gold and diamonds. Plenty of both to be had if you look in the right places.

Make use of the Mazda web site link in the above reply. You'll find what you are looking for there, in spades. Keep in mind that not -all- Mazda dealers are MazdaSpeed dealers. The MazdaSpeeds go only to a very select few.

micah, go to carsdirect.com. Thats how my dad got such a great deal on his Titan when he bought it. It was practically a steal.

Don't pay anything over invoice either. I had a dealer willing to go 1k under invoice and several others willing to go a lil under invoice. So yeah, it's total BS? I got mine for invoice and they gave me 3500 more for my trade then anyone else would, JUST to get the sale from me.

They should kiss your butt to sell you one. Also, play dealers against each other when you find them. Not all mazda dealers can sell them, only mazdaspeed dealers. Check out Mazdausa and see where it tells you mazdaspeed dealers are in your area.

Purchasing

I just bought a MS6 Sport and bought $4100 under MSRP plus got 2.9% financing here in Florida. The dealers are not selling them. The factory are offering special deals. Do not get suckered into the list price. Happy Hunting!

They really arent selling that many? I could imagine...but 4100 under MSRP NICE DUDE NICE!!!

what then? 24000? great deal! plus the 2.7% or something around there....NICE again... most dealership wont around here...dickheads...if I go in...when I get my money for my car...hopefully i get it runnin soon!!! damnit, n sell it privately...

Walk in there...just straight out be like, I want a mazdaspeed6....I am not paying a cent over $25,000....if I hear anything but lets go get one...I am walking out and goin to another dealership...

Wonder if it would work...they WANNA sell them...I know I see a lot when I search, specially the Touring...but I want the 28ker,haha. I hate stealerships....god

Saturns dearlerships are cool though, hehe, they gotta be! haha

Almost every car, that isnt new....can be brought down, except Scion pure pricing, just how far...and they can play games with pricing too...I dont know how exactly, haha

Welcome....

What dealer did you go to?? Where in Orlando are you..??

They are selling the GT's here for around 25K, dont pay a dime more then that.

I hate to say this, but I wouldn't trust the reliability of this car as far as I could throw it since it's an untested vehicle with no history of durability, which is also why there's no way I'd ever keep it past warranty. Not that it's fair to compare this to my former RX8, but that car was a nightmare, and it had problems selling in 2004, and the deals were insane. I remember it being March of 2005, and the dealerships still had a boatload of 04 RX8s selling for $4000 below invoice or more. Just because this car is a failure in the marketplace, it's still a great machine, and hopefully enough of us will be lucky and get many trouble/hassle free miles out of them. Just remember, with these great deals, comes more depreciation. WIthout keeping the car a very long time, in the end you still get what you pay for if you trade it in in 3-4 years. Good luck in your decision. :)

Rare?! That's about as funny as my dealer telling me that they didn't need incentives because they sell themselves. I keep a listing of the stock numbers at said dealer. They have 17 cars. Same ones they had 3 months ago. Rare to sell one maybe!

There's $2500 in rebates now and most expect that to jump to $4k by years end.

Rare......I can't get over that one!
