Looking for 3rd row OEM mat

Hey guys I'm looking to see if anyone has a 3rd row OEM carpet mat in either new or very mint used condition in black color. I hate to buy a new rear set (2nd and 3rd row) just to get the 3rd row mat. If anyone has one please PM me. The only other option is if anyone is in need of the 2nd row OEM carpet mat we can split the cost of the set in half. BTW I tried posting this in the marketplace forum and was deleted twice. I don't know why, it's not like I can post a picture of something I don't have...idk anyway???

Trying to find an OEM mat is going to be hard unless you buy from a dealer or happen to find a wrecker in the junkyard but that's like trying to spot a unicorn..

Some random ideas:
Check if weather tech make 3rd row mats.?
Consider some DIY effort and buy thick-er carpet or roll of thick-er rubber lining and cut to shape. Can use some mat clips to keep it in place. Do you still have original mats to use for tracing and under layer? I am considering cutting out an additional larger rubber mat to cover the 2nd and 3rd rows crevasses.

No I don't have the third row mat right now. I bought my MZ5 used and it didn't have it that's why I was looking for one but I'm having no luck. I may have to do one of the options you listed...:(

In case you haven't seen one in person, its a big "W" that has a narrow strip that runs btw the 2nd row seats and 2 more "fingers" that run underneath same seats. It won't stay put at all if anyone actually uses the 3rd row with regularity. It will constantly be sliding forward and you will find it between the 2nd row seats and the tracks they slide on.
Considering how much of a bother it can be, I wouldn't put more effort/money into your search than looking for a wrecked 5 with your interior color.

Actually I do know how they look but in fact I was hoping to find one from a 2nd gen MZ5. I had a rental that had it and the backing on it was very nice and grippy. I thought about taking it but the good Davicho won over the evil one.

I don't recommend factory 3rd row carpet mat at all. Like what Thaxman said. Not only it will reduce feet room and will slide easily. My already got torn up the first year.
I bought a complete set of ExactMats cover 1st and 2nd row carpet mats. The 3rd row is directly above the carpet. No slip and slide. Very easy to clean and completely covering the center hump.
If you have children and like to visit padding zoo, you will regret ever have carpet mats.

I think he meant petting(?) zoo. Nonetheless, not sure how going to a padding or petting zoo has to do with mats b/c aren't you suppose to clean up the kids before they get back into the car? Also not sure how the 3rd row mats ‘reduce feet room’. o_O

Curious about ExactMats. Ewww, these are the clear vinyl mats with little grippers on the bottom but cut to size. Can’t you buy these in large rolls from home depo/office max and cut them to size (you do need stable hands)?

they come in black as well... looks way better. curious about the fit for the cargo area.

Hmmm come to think of it. That type of cut to fit rubber/plastic mat may be perfect for my CX9 since Mazda doesn't offer a cargo liner that splits between the two third row seats a'la Mazda5 style.

Good Davicho won the first battle but evil Davicho won the war (evil) - j/k.

I'm courious too. Do you work at Mazda dealership? If so, I have some part and part number questions for YOU :D!

LMAO!! Yup the evil Davicho essentially won...LOL! I actually work for an auto group but none of the lines we carry are Mazda, and yes the mat came from a trade-in donor.

If a 2006 Mazda 5 third row mat will do 'ya, mine is brand new (in 2006" and has been rolled up in the garage ever since. I alwys have the 3rd folded, so the mats just got in the way. $30 plus actual shipping and they are yours.

Thank you for your response but I just got one for free from a trade-in unit two weeks ago. However, I guess if someone is looking for one they may read this thread and hit you up. Thanks again.
