Looking at some 2006 mazda3's

All you guys with 06 Mazda3's Hatchback. Anything to look out for when buying. They seem to be right in my price range. I am searching for a touring or the grand touring models. Any help would be appreciated. As far as ride,interior,and exterior how is the quality.

I am trying to see if there are any major diferences in the 06 and the 07 models. I know there were significant changes to the exteior of the 07 from 06. As far as driving and handleing are they similar?? Any help would be appreciated. TIA,

According to TheMan's protegeFAQ, like you said, some cosmetic stuff. New/deleted colors, rectangular foglights, front bumper/grill facelift. I think the "snowflake" alloy wheels appeared in '07 also. Inside is a new rear folding center armrest, an aux input jack and power outlet in the center console, and the govt mandated TPMS for dolts who never check their tire pressures. The chassis changes listed are "suspension geometry" and "revised springs and shocks." I would think these are more "tweaks" than major changes. Hard to say if could notice the difference driving them back to back. You'd have to ask someone who's owned/driven both.
