when you up the boost and blow the welds you will. iv seen intercooler welds on high horsepower, so clearly if ur building a high horsepower car i can see spending 1500 on it, otherwise stay away.
Well that happens from poorly welded materials. Just because something doesn't look "clean" doesn't mean its welded poorly. I see your point though and no doubt the autoexe looks like it costs 1500 bucks .
