Hey whatsup, i just bought a leftover 07 MazdaSpeed6 about 5 weeks ago. I love it as it is: bone stock, but i still would like to mod it. Ive already ordered some stuff for it and so now i just have to wait about 2 weeks for parts to arrive. My only regret is that i wish i had GT with Sunroof and Navigation. Mine is a base model.
Anyway, ive been taking the car to the track, and my best run is 14.3@96 mph. How are u guys driving this car to get 13.8s-13.9s with a stock car. I know how to launch the car, i can match the 1.8 60ft times i see other guys getting, so i assume its with my shifting. Do u guys powershift the tranny? and at what rpm do u shift?? I lift to shift all the gears, and i shift at around 6k rpms because after that i feel the power start to die. 4th gear i hold out and let run past 6k rpms because i figure shifting into 5th to finish the 1/4 will slow me down. How are u guys doing it?? btw my names Andre nice to meet u guys
