Hey guys, I want to get a set of 4 locking lugs for my 2012 Touring stock rims but do not want to pay $50 from the dealer. I cannot seem to find the correct McGard or The Gorilla (2011 yes 2012 no).

Does anyone know where I can find what should be an easy find? Thanks a bunch!

I could be wrong, but I don't see why they would be different.

I'd assume the lugs/wheels are no different from 2011 to 2012. I'm just going off of what I saw at the dealer.

Yes, they're the same. The 2012 models are so new, it'll be a while before most vendors update their databases to include them. Pretty much anything for the 2011's will work on the 2012's.

The McGard 24157 (M12 X 1.5 thread size) fits 2011 Mazda 2 but it didn't specify Sport or Touring. Should it matter? Do you guys think that those locking lugs will be right for my Touring?

Yes it will! The steel wheels get a different locking lug nut than the aluminum wheels do. Different angle. Spend some time on the McGuard site and the answer will be obvious.

Won't matter.

Are there a lot of people stealing steel wheels these days?

Also, the wheel locks on the mazda site specify Alloy rims, so as Joker said, it apparently does matter... but I doubt McGuard has a huge market for steel wheel locking lugs. I could be wrong though.

I have an unopened mazda OEM set I bought last year for my 08 3 hatch I never opened...if its the same I will sell them to you cheap.

I don't believe I'd ever switch my locks when going from steel to alloy wheels and vice versa. Yes, there are exceptions to the rule and every lug won't fit every wheel, but chances are the 5 degrees of taper won't make much of a difference.
