This is a question for any of you that live in a sandy/salty area. Do any of you have problems with the sand and salt? Reason I ask is I might be getting a house down the jersey shore this summer and i'm just wondering of preps i might have to make to protect it...thanks :)

hey i go to the jersey shore also??..where in NJ u stay?...what have u gotten done to ur car or what do u plan on having done??

I live right on the beach and I haven't had any problems with any of my vehicles. I just make sure I keep them clean and always have a good coat of wax on them. The hardest part is keeping the sand out of the interior, it's hard to vacuum it out of the carpet.

Sea Isle, or Avalon is usually where I end up. It looks like it will be Sea Isle this year.
haven't done too much with it...just some new bulbs up front and the carbon fiber tails. I'm thinking the Injen CAI will be the next mod if any, but other than that, I really don't have any plans to do too much. What do the crystal golds look like? I was hoping to only have it for 2-3 years before I can afford something like an IS300 which is what i was close to getting before the old company "enron'd" me on some stock options and what not...blah.
thanks for the info guys.
:)

Swimmer - do the Road and Track trick - flip your floor mats over when you're gonna drag sand or other crap into the car. It helps - a lot.
