I am seriously considering getting the 3.5 MSP lip, but was wondering, how many people have noticed a diffrence in the color of their car and the lip (either oem or after factory)? I like the lip, but if there is a really noticable diffrence IM not sure I would get one.

If you have a classic red car please Post your after factory paint stories below

i notice it too.

I think if you find a good paint shop they should be able to match it, as it should be the same material as the bumper.

I'm sure this happens because the msp and their "aftermarket" stuff like the lip and spoiler are painted at separate times and put together at the ports, so the paint is probably from different batches.

So the issue is then paying for top notch paint work, and Making damn sure they understand that I want it to match perfectly. That sounds like it could get expensive.

i think it will be :P

i painted my grill with some "paint matched" spray paint and its a bit too dark. its pretty annoying to not be perfect.

Decisions, decisions. Hey Alan, I wish you could have been at the meet tonight. It was a nice one. I'll be back in about 2 weeks.

Just take it to a reputable bodyshop< i work at one and our painter is excellent at matching paint. Oh and sometimes the painter will do stuff as a "side job" which makes things cheaper for you.

mine matches almost perfect. only in a certain light can you tell its been painted.
