Link To Bov Video

I know i did tat so it was a quick d-load. the original is 100 megs and is digi video and sound. sorry. the sound is the important part, everyone knows what it looks like

keep in mind my mirror (clut.org) will only be up for a couple days. probably will go away monday, so get it while it lasts!

You hacked that muffler didn't you? I have never heard an MSP rumble and I damn well know it's not BOV. BTW Nice chirp on that BOV! Thanks for postin'

Umm that is def. the sweetest noise ever. I WANT IT!! NOthing like that squeak it's music to my ears.

With the HKS SS BOV, are you having probelms with stalling with it being venting to atmosphere and not recirculating in to the air box?
How did you get around that?

you guys are not understanding me

1 Removed muffler. It's two bolts, but when you remove it you need to hold the exhaust up somehow so I used a exhaust manifold gasket I had laying around and supported the hanging exhaust. thats the mysterious rumble.

cost 0$

2 Intake, not just a cone filter clamped to the air flow meter. that's probably 75% problem with the stalling problem, because

1 not consistant flow through meter, due to the turbo's way of changing air flow quickly vac/boost

2 the intake air temp sensor is left outside of filter. just not where it's suppose to be

I have a 90 degree bend of intake tubing and filter from my friends prelude. Blue silicone tubing between it and the air flow meter including the air temp sensor which is mounted in the center of the AFM

cost 0$

3 BOV, you can not open vent the factory BOV. The reason you can open vent the SSQ is cause it doesn't suck. You get what you pay for.

cost doesn't matter

4 Gauge, nothing but a tuning tool........ Custom install, backing is a piece of a plastic Craftsman tool set carying case, cut with a rotozip.

gauge cost 0$ (factory VDO black face gauge from old turbo porsche in a junk yard)

gauge 0$
gauge install time 1:30 (my garage)
gauge install installation cost 0$

HAVING A MAZDASPEED PROTEGE PRICELESS

I understand ya...I just wondered about that mad rumble, not the chirp. I thought for sure you hacked off the muffler because every MSP I've heard has a subtle purr and yours had a low rumble.

I may be very ignorant on this one but aren't you loosing back pressure by dropping the exhaust?
