Mazda Protege 1.6cc
Hi all, was wondering if anybody install any LSD before? Cause I would like to install

it's a Type F, it's made for 1.6l proteges The gear are stock but as I raise the boost if they come to strip with because of power issue I'll probably put a MR2 ou V6 solara tranny

So i believe that those MAZDASPEED LSD can't fit in our gearbox? Correct me if i'm wrong.
Actually we just need to strengthen the gears & close ratio. I guess it should be fine with that.

Exactly the MSP LSD dosn't fit... at all lol if your can strenght all of the gears + the cassing it would be awsome. If you can't the 3rd gear as I heard is the easiest to break.

Ok. Guess the only choice is to buy QUAIFE LSD. May i know how is the before & after?

I have a QuaifeLSD in my tranny right now ;)
I just ordered a quaife LSD for my protege. Brand new with bearings and spedometer gear installed. I am going to get the arp studs for it. What else will I need to complete the swap?

check if all the syncro's and gear are good. And some tranny fluid
I am planning on changing the first and second gear syncro's and replacing the clutch and flywheel while i am in the trans. 2 quick questions... Do i have to drill out the rivets that hold the diff to the ring gear or is it attached with bolts? And does anyone know where to get ARP bolts for a good price?

10psi on dailydrive... But still I'm pretty sure this engine on stock form can take up to 18psi
