i know i'll probably get laughed at for this .... i actually paid the $20 fee for LimeWire Pro. its a million times faster now and i have never dropped a download or froze up. i'm not into jumping around looking for the next thing that RIAA is going to shutdown and I think iTunes is a ripoff. paying for LimeWire Pro and actually having it work real fast and real reliable is a middle ground of sorts for me. just my experience for what its worth.

Depends on what you're looking for....If you're looking for album stuff, Bearshare is pretty good, but if you're like me and you're looking for obsure stuff, live versions, covers, acoustic etc...most artists have their own message borad w/ a sharing section for that kind of thing....or you can just convert the youtube live stuff to MP3's, thats what I do.

I've always been a fan of Station Ripper, not P2P sites.

SR is free and pulls music from all digital stations out there. Put them in a folder, and you can easily find some of the best music available.

ESPECIALLY if you like stuff in the trance liveset etc. style.

Which, Witchdoktor,...I think ya do!

In terms of free play sites like the one you are referring to, fourthmeal, seeqpod is my new favorite.

I will look for that when I get the 'net back at my house.

I just like those legal options (still free), mainly because virii and other nasties seem to be the regular B.S. you get on limewire. Plus, Limewire (and its friends) act like viruses themselves! They add nasty TSR's...not good!

well according to ken, u could get the pro version of limewire and it would work better
but before u go about buying it, search for the program on the limewire u have right now and see if u can get it for free

Bear Share...It gathers all songs and all you do is click download album and bam! done. Nice and convienient, I encourage everyone to try it, They have def. stepped thier game up
